SEO monitoring for agencies
An agency usually hears about a client's technical problem last — when rankings drop or the client calls. IndexRise checks the key URLs of all your clients every night and tells you in the morning what changed: a noindex after a release, a changed canonical, new redirects, a drop in sitemap URLs.
The agency problem: dozens of sites that change without you
The client ships a new template, a developer changes redirect rules, an SEO plugin updates itself. The agency doesn't control these changes but is accountable for results. A manual audit of every site after every change is impossible — so problems surface only as a traffic drop.
How IndexRise helps agencies
- All clients in one dashboard — each site is a separate project with its own URLs and sitemaps; the dashboard shows at a glance where something is happening.
- A baseline, not rules — we save the state of every page and compare it nightly, so you see what changed and since when.
- A clear signal with the cause — "Page is no longer indexable: noindex (meta robots)" instead of a list of technical diffs.
- Little noise — critical events are confirmed on the next check, and number-only title changes (prices, dates) are ignored.
- A declared baseline — import expected titles, descriptions and H1s from CSV, for example after agreeing copy with the client.
A typical day with monitoring
- In the morning you get an email only if something critical happened — a list of cases, not a hundred alerts.
- You open a case: the baseline value, the current value and how long the change has lasted.
- If the change was intended (a new title after an edit), approve the new baseline with one click.
- If not, you hand the client something concrete: which URL, what changed, what to restore.
What we monitor
Status codes and redirects, noindex in meta robots and X-Robots-Tag, canonical, robots.txt, title, meta description, H1, duplicated tags, sitemap files and their URL counts, response time and JavaScript pages. Full list: What we monitor.
Before you add a client
Check their key URLs with the free tools: indexability, redirects and sitemap. It's good material for a first conversation about the site's technical state.
Frequently asked questions
How many client projects can I monitor?
Each client is a separate project on your account. During the beta we set URL and project limits together with you — just tell us if you need more.
Does the client need to install anything?
No. We check pages from the outside, the way a search engine crawler does. We don't need server, CMS or Search Console access.
What if a client's site blocks bots?
We say so separately and plainly: which URLs we can't see and since when. Our bot page has the details a client can pass to whoever manages their security.
